This classroom and field-based workshop will help shoreline residents develop a landscape that protects against erosion, maintains water quality, supports wildlife, and looks beautiful. Program topics include lake ecology; plant selection; and the design, installation, and maintenance of shoreline landscapes. Participants will gain hands-on experience installing a shoreline landscape on Thornapple Lake. This workshop is sponsored by the Barry Conservation District. Lunch is included.
