MiCorps is pleased to announce this year’s grant recipients for the 2016 Volunteer Stream Monitoring Program’s (VSMP) competitive grants program. Each year, the VSMP provides funding to organizations interested in monitoring their streams and rivers. For 2016, a total of nearly $64,000 was awarded for three Aquatic Macroinvertebrate Survey grants, two Aquatic Macroinvertebrate Survey start-up grants, three Road/Stream Crossing Inventory grants, and two Stream Flow Monitoring Pilot Project grants (new in 2016).
