Conduct lake water quality and plant monitoring this summer on your lake!
Oakland County residents can volunteer to conduct lake water quality and invasive plant monitoring this summer in partnership with the MiCorps Cooperative Lakes Monitoring Program (CLMP) and the Oakland County Board of Commissioners. (See https://micorps.net/news/oakland-countys-healthy-lake-initiative/ for more information.) Participants will receive free (or reduced) registration in the CLMP, training, and equipment. Volunteers will need to have access to a boat to participate.
Join us for one of two free informational sessions to learn more about this exciting opportunity:
- Tuesday, February 6th from 7-8 PM, or
- Saturday, February 24th from 10-11 AM
Participants must also attend a required training session on Saturday, May 5th from 9 AM – 12:30 PM.
All sessions will take place at the Oakland County Commissioners’ Auditorium. Please contact Paul Steen at firstname.lastname@example.org with any questions and to register for the training.
