MiCorps is happy to announce three opportunities for CLMP volunteers to attend our official training program in 2024. There is no cost to attend these training events. Training is required for new volunteers, and experienced volunteers are always welcome. Anyone interested in learning more about the CLMP is invited to participate regardless of their intent to enroll a lake and conduct monitoring this year. Training will be offered in-person in Muskegon and Crystal Falls, and online for those who can’t attend in person. Visit our Lake Training Webpage for more information, including training agendas.
Note: To monitor your lake through the CLMP, you will need to enroll your lake at www.micorps.net/lake-monitoring/become-a-volunteer. The CLMP training is free, but there are small fees to enroll your lake in the monitoring program itself.
