The Michigan Clean Water Corps (MiCorps) hosts an annual conference each fall to report on volunteer monitoring activities in the state. Training is provided at the conference for interested volunteer coordinators. This annual event is a great opportunity to learn about volunteer monitoring opportunities and to meet or reconnect with other water quality program leaders and volunteers from around the state. More information on the conference, associated trainings, and registration will be available this fall.

Overnight lodging at the Kettunen Center will be available on October 22nd for an additional charge for any participants needing to arrive the evening before. Reservations can be made through the conference online registration form which will be available in early fall. Please contact Laura Kaminski (laurak@glc.org) with any questions.

Note: Training sessions held at the annual conference do not meet the training requirements for participants of the Cooperative Lakes Monitoring Program (CLMP). For more information on the CLMP training requirements, please view the lake monitoring training page.
